Plymouth Preschool Scholarship Fund

“Funds for the Youngest Ones”

(Supplement for a 4 year old preschool program)

The Plymouth Early Childhood Council is proud to offer scholarship funds for families who wish to provide a preschool experience for their four year old child.

The Plymouth Early Childhood Council has secured grant funds and donations from various community groups and members to supplement a preschool education for a four year old child residing in the town of Plymouth (including the villages of Terryville and Pequabuck). We understand that the expense of preschool may be a strain on a family’s budget: therefore we are committed to helping eligible families reduce the cost through scholarships. This supplement will provide up to 50% of your tuition cost for a period of 10 months. The council will work closely with the programs to ensure that the recipient attends the program at least 75% of the time per month. Everyone is eligible to apply for the scholarship and are encouraged to do so by filling out the application in its entirety.

Applicants must:

· Be legal residents of the town of Plymouth (including the villages of Terryville and Pequabuck),

· Have a four year old child currently enrolled (or enrolled no later than September, 2014) in one of the Plymouth preschools listed in the Preschool Scholarship Fund, Funds for our Youngest Ones application

· Submit a completed application and supporting documents on or before April 11, 2014
