*Remembering the musical alphabet is easy if you just sing the first phrase of the song over and over. "A B C D E F G, A B C D E F G, A B C D E F G, etc." This reminds you that every time you get to "G" you start over. Also keep in mind that as you go up by step, it's the musical alphabet forwards.

Going down by step is the musical alphabet backwards (G F E D C B A).
It's helpful to memorize it both ways so if you run into a note you down known, you can go up or down from the closest note you know!
